The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) is an international organization of seven nations of South Asia and Southeast Asia. The BIMSTEC member states – are Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
There are 14 main sectors of BIMSTEC along with technological and economic cooperation among south Asian and southeast Asian countries along the coast of the Bay of Bengal.
